Arranging electronic sounds - sometimes haunting, sometimes angelic, and quite often filthily loud - within structures akin to classical composition, CECIL injects his years of guitar playing and melodic roots to music never to be played in the background.

Dark, jaunting, jagged
What are your main musical influences?
Unanticipated sounds and structures that catch my ear. Things that don’t need to be repeated within the song, that makes me put the song on repeat.
Which subcultures have influenced you? Grime, Minimalism, Stoner

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Pixies - Surfer Rosa 30th Anniversary at London Roundhouse. Closely followed by Moby Dickless at Manchester Academy, which might’ve been first if it wasn’t socially distanced.
An underrated heroine or hero in music you admire?
Who needs a hero when you have the SUPERVILLAIN?! (RIP MF DOOM)
What are your core values as artist?
To be ever developing and ever independent

Currently, NOMAN - I’d had the idea and structure for NOMAN set for a while, but the middle section was a complete muddy mess. Only thanks to the fantastic work by DRED ERIC, who mixed and mastered all of the tunes off of this debut EP, did the song truly come together and sound how I’d intended it.
